Lovely room decor, bright with small balcony. Simple breakfast, fresh croissants and bread. Central location, easy walk to main squares. Would stay again!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The breakfast offered a nice selection of Portuguese options and they even allowed me to make a to-go breakfast when I had to leave early for Sintra. The staff were very kind and gave me recommendations for things to see in the city. The room, although small, was clean and well designed, with a comfortable bed and a brand new AC that kept the air fresh and the room quiet. The location was convenient, with restaurants, bars, and a mini market nearby, and it was only a 15-minute walk to the city center.
Nothing that I didn't like.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to an underground station and close to other exciting areas. It was also convenient to explore the old city center. The room was nicely decorated and bright, with a small balcony to enjoy coffee in the morning. The staff was friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage on our last day. the breakfast provided fresh croissants and bread every morning.
The walls were thin, and we could hear the conversations and noise from neighboring rooms, which made us feel uncomfortable at times.

During my recent stay at 1898 Home And Suites, I experienced really good service and a comfortable environment. The host, Tetiana, were really nice too ensure a smooth check-in process and even arranged a taxi for us. The kitchen was well-equipped, great to prepare breakfast easily. the iron provided was of great quality.
To be honest, the room was on the smaller side, making it a bit challenging to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The bathroom was also quite small in size.
